Atlanta’s own DJ Danny M and DJ Vice.
DJ VICE returned to Atlanta for a special performance at Gold Room. His presence on the turntables translated onto the dance floor with club goers “moving and shaking” all night.

Gold Room goes “Hollywood” with Blonde Bombshells.
Packing out nightclubs and serving up hard-hitting beats is a “walk in the park” for this LA native. It’s no wonder why Gold Room insisted that they bring DJ VICE to Atlanta.

Put a card on it: “Now Your FAMOUS!”

DJ VICE sat down with ATL Nightlife to reflect on his experience back to Atlanta and to perform at the legendary Gold Room.
For all his successes, DJ VICE is as humble as he is talented.
One-On-One with Skam Artist, DJ VICE.
ATL Nightlife: Congratulations to your Los Angeles Lakers and their NBA Championship win! I know you are a huge fan. What was going through your mind?
DJ VICE: Crazy! I missed my flight coming in because the Lakers won. We celebrated during my set at Playhouse Hollywood the night before coming to Atlanta.
ATL Nightlife: Tell us about your residencies at TAO and LAVO in Las Vegas?
DJ VICE: For the past four years, I’ve played every Saturday night at TAO. The past weekend was “McLovin’s” (Christopher Mintz- Plasse’s character from Superbad) Birthday Party. “McLovin’” was in the DJ Booth with Michael Phelps; there just partying and taking shots… it’s a normal occasion to see celebrities Saturday nights at TAO. Then, I do Sunday nights at LAVO. It’s called “VICE Sundays”; it’s a smaller venue, more intimate party with locals and the club industry crowd.
ATL Nightlife: Fans can get the latest news and updates on your Twitter and Facebook Fan Page. Are you as much of a “party animal” as some of your fans suggest?
DJ VICE: Lets just say everywhere I go, everybody has a good time… and there are a lot of shots! It doesn’t matter if it’s 10 people there or 10,000… I’m going to have a good time.
ATL Nightlife: You have a vast knowledge of all genres of music. Which genre do you see stepping into the forefront?
DJ VICE: 100% house music. It’s dance music turned into pop music. All the Ke$ha, Christina Aguilera, and Lady Gaga tracks stem from house music.
ATL Nightlife: Are you looking forward to any events this summer?
DJ VICE: I’m looking forward to attending a festival called Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC 2010) in Los Angeles (over 90,000 people expected in attendance). I love to see house DJs perform like Erick Morillo, Swedish House Mafia… I love Steve Aoki’s energy, and I also love A-Trak.
ATL Nightlife: What’s it like watching other DJs perform?
DJ VICE: I like seeing other DJs perform because it keeps me inspired and keeps the passion in me. To see the crowds reaction to the DJ helps me understand the club-goers perception… I like to keep that thought in mind when I see other DJs perform.
ATL Nightlife: Where have you been in Atlanta that you would recommend to visitors?
DJ VICE: R. Thomas Deluxe Grill in Atlanta. I was there this past trip and I forgot the name so I asked my friends, “Lets go to that place with birdcages!” They had no idea what I was talking about. That place is cool as hell!
