PLAYBOY'S 50th YEAR ANNIVERSARY
50 PARTIES, 50 CITIES, WORLD-WIDE.
June, 11, 2010.
To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Playboy Club—and the Playboy bunny—50 parties were held in 50 cities around the world. Social Study, along with SKAM Artist and ATL Nightlife hosted the Atlanta event at Opera Nightclub, which featured 50 local women dressed as Playboy bunnies competing for a chance to go to the Playboy mansion.
One lucky "Bunny" was to be selected the Atlanta winner and would thus be presented with a $1000 Cash prize and a chance to be featured in Playboy Magazine.
Lexi Sims was crowned as Atlanta’s winner.
Fans casted over 2,000 votes online and the winner was announced live during the event. Lexi Sims was named Atlanta’s Playboy Bunny. Lexi says, “I'm a aspiring model here in Atlanta. I may live in the city but I'm a small town southern girl at heart.”
Opera’s VIP guests wore smoking jackets to commemorate the night.

Special Playboy invitations were handed out to Opera Nightclub’s VIP guests prior to the event to assure entry into this sold out event. Those who waited in general admission had to wait it out in the long lines that wrapped around the venue before partying with the Playboy Bunnies.
